On 11/12/2024, Harrison County Sheriff's Office assisted the Mercer County Sheriff's Office on the service of a Harrison County warrant in rural Mercer County.  

Jason W. Perkins, 46 of rural Mercer County was taken into custody without incident on an active Harrison County warrant for Statutory Rape 2nd degree. He is being held on a $35,000 cash only bond.  Charges are pending in multiple area counties stemming from the arrest.

Mercer County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Harrison County Sheriff's, North Missouri Drug Task Force, The Grundy County Sheriff's Office, The Daviess County Sheriff's Office, The Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Bethany Police Department
